Brazilian Portuguese (version 1.6.6b2)
t3chn0k:
Hello,
In 2005, when the game's version was 1.3, I made it's first translation to Portuguese.
Michal even integrated it into the game, but never gave me the credits.
Now I have made a new translation for the version 1.6.0, and it is supperior to the actual version that comes with Soldat.
Please, I would like to know if you can replace the actual Soldat's portuguese translation for mine's.
Thank you.

I don't understand what you said in post 2 and 3.
Please tell me what you were talking about so I can decide it I replace the translation or not.
Thanks.

Well, we were arguing about if my translation is better or not than his (he claims the current portuguese translation was made by him).
First of all, I can say with NO DOUBT that the current portuguese translation was made over my first translation (in 2005), and whoever wrote it gave me no credits - thus, as a plagiarism..
Second, after translating soldat 1.6, I did a localization work, focused in Brazil. So my translation is suited for brazilians (most of portuguese speakers that play Soldat are from Brazil).
I don't know where this guy is from, but his portuguese is very strange to me. May be he is from some country in south of Africa... Idk...
So you have two choices:
First: Replace the current translation for mine;
Second: Keep both translations, but specifying my translation as "Brazilian Portuguese".
If you agree with the second option, I'll be already satisfied. But I must say that I am not sure that that guy really speaks portuguese, since his speech had lack of verbal and nominal agreement.
Thanks for your time,
Felipe Augusto (from Brazil) :)
