Brazilian Portuguese (version 1.6.6b2)

Bem... as duas traduções tem coisas erradas, mas eu prefiro a mudança. Algumas coisas que estão erradas:
- Em inglês, certas coisas como título de botões (ou título de modos, ou outras coisas) tem primeira letra de cada palavra maiúscula (quase todas). Isso não acontece em muitas outras linguagens. Em vez de escrever "Ponto da Equipe Alfa", tem que escrever "Ponto da equipe Alfa" (Alfa é o nome da equipe). Em vez de "Você pegou a Bandeira!" tem que ser "Você pegou a bandeira!"... e assim vai...
- Pelo amor de deus, "kickar" é "chutar".
- "Granadas estilhaçadas!" ou "Granadas aglomeradas!"?
- "Survival Mode" = "Modo de sobrevivência", "Advance Mode" = "Modo de avanço". E assim vai...
- Provavelmente usar "anti-trapaça" (não tenho certeza).
- "Modo Tela Cheia" -> "modo de tela cheia".
- "%s saiu da equipe Alpha" -> "%s saiu da equipe Alfa"
- "Bem-vindo" -> "Benvindo"
Deve ter mais coisas erradas além destas, então precisa ser revisto. Também precisa ver diferenças entre o inglês da versão atual e de uma versão antiga. Tem certas coisas que não batem com o que foi mudado no inglês desta versão.

Well, to summarize, both of those have things wrong. "t3chn0k"'s has a more translated feel compared to what's in soldat 1.6 (many things from this version has - like the modes, for example - are still in English). I'm sure that other brazilians would prefer "t3chn0k"'s version if it was revised (with some fixes listed in Portuguese above). Also he needs to check if it matches what was changed in the current English version (apparently some of the things are still of an old version).

Quanto aos seguintes pontos:
1º. À questão de acertar as maiúsculas e minúsculas, eu concordo com você. A tradução está assim porque foi baseada no arquivo inglês original (de muito tempo atrás) e o mesmo continha esses erros;
2º. Ao "chutar" no lugar de kickar... é deprimente, já que ninguém usa o termo "chutar";
3º. Ao "Benvindo" (SIC) no lugar de "Bem-vindo", a palavra "Benvindo" não existe... A não ser o substantivo próprio ("Benvindo" é um nome de pessoa);
4º. Alpha, e Alfa, realmente... eu havia padronizado para "Alfa" e acabei me esquecendo de continuar assim depois dos updates... vou padronizar para "Alfa";
5º. Ao granadas estilhaçadas ou aglomeradas, fui eu que inventei os dois... Quando fiz minha primeira tradução em 2005 coloquei Aglomeradas, mas nessa última versão preferi o termo Estilhaçadas já que a ideia é a de uma granada que estoura estilhaços para todos os lados... Não existem granadas que explodem e soltam outras granadinhas...
Outra coisa, você deve levar em consideração que as vezes é mais pertinente usar um termo similar, porém que não corresponda a uma tradução literal, principalmente devido ao tamanho limitado dos botões.
Resumidamente, a meu ver o que falta é padronizar as maiúsculas e o "Alfa". Eu realmente não concordo com o uso da palavra "chutar", tampouco com "anti-trapaça". Isso é como chamar o mouse de "rato".
Como você bem disse, ainda há coisas para serem melhoradas, mas para mostrar o quanto os brasileiros gostam dessa minha versão, veja que no site do Baixaki já fizeram mais de 61.000 downloads dela:

Corrigi minha tradução de acordo com nossa discussão. Mantive os termos "kickar" e "anti-cheat". Os nomes dos modos de jogo continuam começando com maiúsculas em todas as palavras, pois foram considerados como títulos. Por favor, cheque o arquivo anexado a este post.

This translation is available since the version 1.3. Note that they continued to download it, even after Soldat had it's own portuguese translation.
We were also arguing about translating or not the words "kick" and "anti-cheat". I think they should not be translated for a simple reason: their portuguese's correspondences are not usual. I mean, in portuguese "to kick" is "chutar", but when we want to kick someone from a server, we do use the word "kickar", which doesn't exist in portuguese. It is an anglicism, but it is how people speak here. Our language is not dead, it changes thru the time. And I must say that many words that were once considered as anglicisms are now in our portuguese's dictionaries.
Ok, I already fixed my translation. I kept the terms "kickar" and "anti-cheat". The game modes still start with capital letters in all words, since they were considered as titles. Please, check the file attached to this post.

Anyways I will use your translation in the next Soldat version if no one has anything against it.

t3chn0k, acho que "Cluster grenade" tem como tradução correta até pelo nome da granada na realidade como "granada de fragmentação" ou algo do tipo com palavra "fragmento". Veja você mesmo no Google: http://is.gd/TII134
