Trenchwar Scrim scene (friendly clanwars)

I thought it's time for a thread at these forums to discuss TW scrims.

At the time being there's four TW clans that's more or less active: Wolfpack, Pink Army, Dark Ops and \x00 (pronounced as "Null"). My own clan is Wolfpack (with the clan tag [WP]) and this is our record so far since the first scrim in 2011-06-06:

At the moment I'd say WP and PA are the most active and up and coming clans, but \x00 and DO still have a much better record if you go back in time.



Edit: Perhaps I should add that Greywolf and +TheOne are WP's leaders, while I'm third in command.

And lets arrange some tournament in order to make the tw community a little more active...


ps: Out of out 7 members only 4 are active;
Lisa is active only at night :3 Breach never uses irc so it's hard to catch him online, Devas is mostly active but busy and I'm just a lazyass...

I think that's a really good idea. We often have three WP members willing to scrim but no opponents. When we've played lately it's usually been against PA, probably because they have more members. \x00 have a great history and I won't take that away from you, but it'd be nice to play you more often.

PA is more active - They have 18 active members plus 16 inactive(Null has 7 total)...


Anyway, I will do all what it takes in order to get a team ready up for a scrim but my clan is active only at evenings/nights :3

WP have 8 members and I'd say about 6 of them are active. We're still young as a clan but it helps us to improve that we rely on few active members rather than loads of people who make little effort in teambuilding. =)

WP is the most active clan currently,
then PA

thou i still think \x00 is rlly good, u just had to be more active. Or sacrifice ur godstatus by allowing weaker but active new players in.
As an Ex-\x00 Member i am a bit botherd about u. The loss of Acid has rlly hurt u.

We must allow more newbs in. Maybe we could say 2 olds 1 newb or something^^ im just brainstorming right now, but if soldat in general is running low on players, TW sure is. And TW scrim even more, since its hardcore And thats very hard to change.

The loss of Acid didn't hurt us but made us even stronger also that was the reason why my new clanmates and I revived \x00 after acid killed it.

Also you should know that Null always allows anyone, even the newbie players, to scrim without permission
But I guess our recruiting system doesn't work :/

We had only 1 recruit, breach and he's a good player but he doesn't even use irc >_> You hear that Breach?!?!?! Start using irc goddamn you!

ur not even often on Leos anymore besides Lisa, who doesnt even wear ur tag there.

Fix that and u will get the 2-4 members u are currently lacking cuz its not more than that.

sorry but greys right there, pav im the only one from null besides breach playing regularly on pubs - and were both not even wearing the clantag..
breach will never change his {USSR}-tag, but i would if some more null-members were playing on pubs..i doubt ppl on leos even know about the "presence" of a diff TW-clan than WP and PA which is recruiting like every single player around

By the way.. WP now have 7 won games in a row and 9 without a loss.

Well, I for one didn't have any experience of clanwars before I joined WP and I don't think it's such a shame to have one defeat against a more experienced clan. PA lately is another thing, since they lost a few of their key players, but still it's only nice to have some competition at this scene.

Concealing losses and refusing to scrim at all wouldn't be as fun as playing and really trying to improve.

Things are happening on the TW scene.

There's a new clan called No Commission (NC) and we've played them six times already (4 wins for WP, 1 tie and 1 win for NC).

Today we tried a size 10 scrim with domination script and mines on (not what we usually do) and it was very fun. Here's an endgame pic from the first map (tw_Rime):
