right click on  a weapon to deselect it.

An option could be the more(or less)-recently-selected secondary weapon would be deselected.

Also consider if a player wants to spawn with fists, and no weapon. The right-click to deselect idea would also allow support for such a feature. I kind of like this idea. Some instances I want to deselect my primary weapon because a friend and I are only playing with e.g. USSOCOMs (without needing to go into the server and modify settings for a quick match).

Jeez, why are you making so many problems? Devs would make a new Choose Weapon Window and everything would be fine... Look! Yellow and green buttons are viewable at the same startup. If someone choose PW (Primary Weapon) in yellow area, game will show him buttons in red area! Then, player can choose between second PW or SW (Secondary Weapon). If he choose PW, the buttons in green area will be hidden! Analogic situation will happen for SW...!
