I have a night class and I bring mine to it every time. No issues whatsoever.

Give it some time.

Why should I expect issues? It's a smallish community college and there are campus cops riding around in golf carts all around the parking lot and campus seemingly 24/7.

I've never been hit by a car, and everyone driving knows the law, so there's no reason to look both ways when stepping into a crosswalk.

I'm not saying I'm oblivious; I know that I *could* be mugged at any time, just like I could also get hit by a car. It's just unlikely, but I'm still paranoid as shit so I look at people closely who get close to me physically.

Then you simultaneously hold the view that your laptop is always safe and that your laptop is not safe.
