-Added Clouds (Not in photo)
Hopefully this goes up in the sever "Hint, Hint" Rafi <3
Shadow areas in tunnels aren't that dark, have no idea why it came out like that in the photo

I like the dark color effect goes with rain.

He's prob talking about adding shadows, lights and such. Because at the moment, the map looks effing flat.

Yes. For some reason I couldn't think of a better way to say it, and I realised what I said wasn't very clear. Its fucking realised not realized you useless spell checker

Im not really a pro with map making so dont really know how to add shadows or lights etc :|

Use the vertex colouring tool in polyworks, but set the colour to white (to lighten) or black (to darken), give it a low opacity (~10-20%), then you can click on vertexes to lighten or darken without having to choose the colour each time.

Can also do the same thing to tint the colours slightly.

Even if you aren't trying to create the effect of a light source somewhere, varying the colours even slightly makes the map look much nicer.

You were right map looks waaaaaaaaaay better with effects, any suggestions since maps going to be under construction ?
