Hello people,

we have a new Soldat Beta Team!

There are currently only two Subteams:
The Map Team:
Map testing, default map decisions, fixing map bugs.
  • SuoW (leader)
  • Denacke
  • As De Espada

and the Weapon Balance Team:
Testing and decisions about weapon balance.
  • DragonSlayer (leader)
  • bernadinho
  • Skoskav
  • ZeroStatic

There will be a few more teams:
The Translation team:
Translate Soldat language files, translate the News posts.

The Documentation team:
Update the Soldat manual and Scripting Manuals, write tutorials for Scripting and new Players.

The Testing Team:
Test Soldat before it gets released, Test for specific bugs.

If you think you should be part one of these empty teams PM me ;)

Thanks everyone who participates in one of these teams for helping us to make Soldat great!

Another topic:
In some post you suggested that we should have a site where you can vote for the features you like.
And there is one now!

The suggestion and idea vote page:

Ah and sadly there weren't any code changes since the last time I posted which doesn't make me happy at all.

That actually sounds like a damn good idea. We need promoters!

Ah and sadly there weren't any code changes since the last time I posted which doesn't make me happy at all.

I hope those beta teams are worth creating then, cause if nothing happens in the next few weeks it would be a waste.

But I'm sure it won't go that way so good job on doing this :)

netcode unit syncing
Elaborate pls.

With Delphi, groups of code are expressed as units. He's probably indicating he got the netcode between the client and server codebases closer together.

probably? you're part of soldat dev team and you have no idea what's going on? Nice.

Indeed. So close together that they both have exactly the same code even.

Looks alright, though, wish it good luck!

If you succeed to remove "eating bug" R/S will get new meaning!

Whole Soldat would... And let they fix that teleporting fast move bug/hax... I shoot to someone by law, bullet is almost on his chest and... He makes a super fast (not possible to happen) and the bullet misses... So annoying!

You guys should get used to the 'IT WILL TAKE ALOT OF TIME TO FIX THE SOLDAT NETCODE' problem because, its not something done in days no months maybe years. Stop pushing about it, else do something yourself about it.
