One of the best soldat RPG is back to you on a new (usually) stable host with all the old accounts still there! If you have played and loved this game mode, feel free to join us.

What can we do about it? It has been actively played and loved for a few weeks.
All bugs I found were fixed or dropped as unfixable.
It's not going to get full without anyone caring about it.
People tend to leave after 10 seconds of idling.
Any plans?

Join the irc channel #soldat.eat-this! or use the ingame irc-script to ask someone to join?
People could join the server and idle there for some time (meanwhile they can study or clean up their room..)

I don't think my account works anymore. Unless it still has that rule where 4 or more players need to be logged in

It's a pretty old account too... how far back do the old accounts go? right to the beginning?

As far as I know the accounts go back to the beginning.

Also take in account that the usernames are now case-insensitive. Read this topic for more info about that.

Tried logging in to my hexer account again today (there was no one else on the server tho).

It seems that my old hexer accounts exist (I have a few), but each account i try to log in to returns a msg stating "unhandled response from database" in big red font.

What does this mean?

It means that the script received incorrect data which it can't proceed with. (unless something was changed in the script, idk)
If the problem remains you'll have to wait for someone who has access to the script/database and can fix the problem.

It has been active the last days, but now it's going dead again.
Some oldies came back and played, but nearly all disappeared again.
We did teach a few newcomers hexer, but they will soon drop it again because it's empty.
Where are you people?

Maybe we should define a specific time of the day when we meet in the server. If we all spend a little time idling there in that hour, it should work.
What do you propose? 6-7 pm CEST?
