i got banned for :

why banned - note

lamer - im playing to good !

teamkiller - i killed that guy 1 time...

server possioble cheating - 1 second after i join and i dont cheated

you are first at the list =p - that was gay

maany times i got banned without vote!

m79 noob - lol

barret noob - thats crazy

noob - grrr...

It's nothing unusual for a player to votekick another player for a nonsensical/stupid reason.

Common Server Bug... was taken care of in the recent update? Or the one before that?

Common Server Bug... was taken care of in the recent update? Or the one before that?

Is that really a server bug? I've only experienced it on mouselike.org. I think it happens when the server is full and someone tries to join. I'm pretty sure it targets one of the people with the lowest score (which explains why it happened once you joined).

I reckon soldat would be a better place without Vote Kick after 1.3.1 its not like anyone uses it for the right FRIKIN reasons anyway, i get voted out for 1v1's in Gamearena CTF and for killing someone bad, vote kick never works on hackers anyway.

Meh. Vote kick never works in GA Servers. The new admins are hardly on.
Basically we just gang up on the hacker and insult him till he leaves.

I've had it work numerous times.Â In general, whenever someone's obviously hacking, people are more than eager to get rid of him.

Yep...generally the reason being "hax" or some variation of it.Â Just because I'm better than another player at a given time hardly means I'm using an aimbot.Â Luckily, in that situation, people just call me a hacker, and I can just miss them a few times to clear things up.

I agree with Bond, cept about the U13, DM has very few noobs in it, I get banned from EnEsCe db sumtiems cause I aim so well even with 200 ping that they think I'm aimbotting, I have NEVER aimbotted in my life and never will, I'm jsut a pro at db, thats all.

also, yesterday on Snipe and Slice I tried to get banned for shooting a random shot and hitting a guy across the field, he votes for me

Whenever I do that sort of thing (across map kill with the LAW, for example), I'll follow it up with "Oh wow, that was just luck" or something similar.Â Generally people are understanding of that sort of thing.

How do aimbots hit anyway?Â It seems like a lot of work for a hacker to calculate momentum, speed, and so on just to make the shot perfectly hit someone.Â Maybe they just alter shot direction to hit someone.Â Something like:

if (shot.x < closestPlayer.x) shot.x++;
if (shot.x > closestPlayer.x) shot.x--;
if (shot.y < closestPlayer.y) shot.y++;
if (shot.y > closestPlayer.y) shot.y--;

I dunno, the whole thing seems like a lot of work.Â Personally, I have never seen an aimbot.Â Do they really exist, or is it just a n00b excuse?

yes aimbotters exist, noobs just make it out that ALL hackers/noobs/Pros use aimbots so there's really not that many out there. So it's not surprizing that if u only like go to certain servers (such as !Eliete and U13 and Mouselike and so on. They dont have a lot of hackers.

I've only been banned once, and I was winning. Ironically, the entire server was filled with n00bs, and they apparently don't want people to join who can easily kick their ass. They tried it 3 times, first for "cheating", second for "ping" (which was completely fine. I doubt they even knew what they were talking about), and the third time for "lagging". That last time I got kicked. I didn't really care that much anyway, because no one really knew what they were doing.
