Trying to port forward has messed up some computer programs

So one day i was requesting servers on soldat, and i never payed attention to the servers with ping 9999
so one day i searched google about soldat servers with the ping 9999 and how to play on those servers so i checked and i found out you had to portforward it. It was a topic off of this site.

So anyways i attempted to port forward and i did all the steps changing to static and stuff with my modem router
So i did all the steps and still wasnt able to play on soldat ping 9999 servers, and nothing happened to me requesting servers, but the next day when i got on the computer i found out that when i requested servers i get an error and it says try again later. so now i have to go on http://soldat.thd.vg/en/lobby to play servers.

So anyways i attempted to play other games like runescape and runescape private servers and i found out that those would not work either.

I believe that trying to portforward all this has messed up my computer.

I tried a system restore, i deleted my old computer acc and made a new one, reinstalled some programs, etc. and it still doesnt work.

Oh yes and some websites wont load anymore either

Can someone please help me?

You shouldn't really change alone your IP to static. This is decided by your ISP and not by you. You maybe have a "fake" IP that just doesn't work

Try to undo the changes you did. Maybe reinstalling Soldat could help.

The servers with ping 9999 are firewalled you can't play on them because the server owner has to port forward not you.

Reset your router to factory settings because I'm unsure you can figure out how to put it back. And change the IP address on your computer back to dhcp instead of static.

The owner of servers has to forward ports (if they're behind a NAT) not the player connecting.

Make sure you know how to put in your internet provider login stuff etc before you do that. If you don't know the login etc don't do it

I meant as in he hold the little reset  button at the bottom of his router for 30 seconds or however long it requires to reset it to factory settings.
