Hi everyone,

so I wasn't really working on Soldat this week and somehow nothing happened :S
I'm not sure how much time I'll have this week to work on the installer. Sorry for that.

There are still some translations missing and I still have to finish the installer for the rc.

Since I don't like to disappoint you I think it's time to make the Beta version public.
It was under private testing for a few weeks so some bugs are already fixed.

Soldat 1.6.3b1
Soldatserver 2.7.3 1.6.3b1

Please post bug in this thread unless they are already in 1.6.2 or earlier versions (if they are in 1.6.2 and earlier add them to the bugtracker - if they aren't there already).
You can link to the bugtracker to get my attention (maybe also write why it should be fixed in this release

Guess I'll download it and play that server mentioned above, hopefully it has a flexible ping limit.

In the folder where you installed Soldat, open the files weapon.ini and weapons_realistic.ini.

Shoozza will finish the installer. If everybody could try to find people to do the missing translations it would be great!
It's a chance to a little for the comunity so we can all move on with the development faster

You don't even have to do them from scratch!

Please ask them if you know someone who can translate any of theese languages:

Congratulations on the beta , Shoozza , at least you're working hard and i really want to applaud you , we needed something fresh or at least a hint that soldat was going to get better! I've noticed that some people are coming back to soldat ( competitively talking and even in public servers) , there are full almost the entire day! I dont know if its the summer but its really cool!

PS : It's gonna be hard to find a Thai translator but i'll try to help with finding other translators as well with the ones helping atm

I got a question about the .dll support: The most of the servers are hosted with an linux host. Are .so files supported then also?
