Soldat ACTUAL RELEASE!

Hello there beloved soldat fans!

I don't know if I'd be the first to come up with this idea, and I am prepared for comments like: "It's stupid and senseless".
I just thought to myself, Soldat celebrated it's 10th anniversary since first version was created. I also thought to myself: what a great game is Soldat and how I do want to contribute to whoever the creator of the game by buying the game. I've played it for like 8-9 years and I think it's just fair that you'll purchase a product that has brought you so much fun for free!

Cut to the chase, I think there should be a limited edition (50-100 copies) release available on eBay or whatever to buy a CD Version of Soldat. The CD of course will come with the registration key and with lots of cool artworks in it! And if the price could be in the decent range of 15-20$ like current registration key in order to cover the expanses of those who printed the cd's and the shipping (although I think they would even benefit).

I know, it's an online game... But I'd like to visualize the experience and hold a real cd with this game in my hand, it'd be awesome and I will buy it without the slightest hesitation!

But won't it be great to hold a piece of a game with artworks and some nice manual in it?

There actually were CDs with Soldat 1.0.5b-ish on them in PC magazines back when they were both still relevant (the CDs and magazines, not Soldat). Though it's a cool idea, and if someone wants to contact and work together with MM on that then go ahead. I doubt the current developers wants to spend the time and effort on printing and mailing dozens of CDs around the globe. We don't want your money either (unlike MM).

Didn't MM sell some poster some time ago that went wrong? (i.e people not recieving them or sth?!)

Well the whole idea is to have the CD, with the game files and a reg-key. So the buyer won't have to deal with much shit in case his game's deleted.
Hopefully auto-update will be released. :3

Well imho finding cd and opening dvd rom is more to deal with than opening google -> soldat -> download now!
cd medium is outdated and I don't know if I'd bother with selling just artwork (effort =/= price)
