I've read a few posts and all i can say is eats don't make a game ''broken'' as some of you guys said , it sometimes even makes it funnier e.g : you get the enemy's flag , a guy m79's you , it makes you bounce and you get away of their base haha.. Sure eats can sometimes be annoying but you guys gotta admit that you get good laughs from them sometimes as well.Besides the devs are currently working on rewriting the netcode and if Greenlight is a positive asset for soldat then why not do it! I also wanted to point out that it's funny how some of you call this game "broken" but can't stop playing it :p

Of course eating can be annoying, but it also takes away some seriousness which makes Soldat a more easy-going shooter which is exactly why I prefered it over other games.

If only more people could think like you.The only time i got bothered by eats was during SCTFL where those eats decided the game apart from that , i don't think its that much of a problem (in public servers , cws , fcws etc..) as far as calling this game "Broken".

basicly it is a problem.... you guys are right, the game isnt broken... but such things make people leave games, some cant stay cool and say, ok... another time it happens to the enemy propably... thats just not how all player think, so just fix that thing o.o

Sadly the netcode will stay a problem for some time... as we will not fix it for the next release (would delay the release a lot).

As for Greenlight: I will talk to MM and see what he says. I think he is the only one who can put it on Greenlight (ramirez tried it already).

Falcon12 - "And soldat has fewer eats then I've ever seen and they're just part of the game, of all online multiplayer games its called the internet"

WAIT, FEWER? that means you say it has lesser eats?
You didnt play 1.6.3.... sorry, if you say that, you clearly didnt.

Also, tell me in which game you can survive 3 direct m79 hits?

Sorry, but the eat's have become annoying this soldat version... im just here to say that, so that this once gets fixed.

I've defintly played 1.6.3 and its not like eats make you better or worse at the game if they're eating your shots then you bet your ass you're eating their shots. The best players will still win it's a consistency game, and people play to win.

Eats are no serious problem we used to have a much larger community with just as many eats in the game. The point I'm trying to make is that eats aren't the reason soldat is dieing there's bigger fish to fry for now.

Right. Soldat lacks visual "up-to-dateness" to make it appeal to the younger generation. The gameplay has been tweaked and tweaked and is not prior. At least not prior to a better interface and gui.

That's just my 2 cents, though.

Ok so I had little time to talk with MM.

He wants a few enhancements to be added before Soldat goes on steam.

This also means it will not get added to greenlight until the next release (if we manage to add all of them)...

Shouldn't be a big deal - I'm sure a few people in the community (myself included) would be willing to submit enough cash to get to $100. Paypal makes it easy enough to shove money around
There are other worlds than these
