ctf Petro
« on: August 21, 2006, 06:38:14 pm »
Figured it was a while since my last release, so here's something new to chew on.

I present ctf Petro, a head on ctf style map.  Here's the skinny:

*Good for 8-12 players
*Not waypointed (yet...)
*Supports ctf, tm, pointmatch, and rambo play
*Thanks to S.K. for the light sceneries.

As usual, report any problems with gameplay and I'll fix them.  I figured people would have the basic sceneries, but ya never know...so get in touch if you're lacking.  Otherwise, enjoy.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams it is
still a beautiful world.  Strive to be happy.

1. I don't like colouring and shading espesially of top part of the map (except arcs)...
2. texture stretching is horrible at some places...
3. I don't like that texture, it is like multitexture but there is no multitexturing...
4. too many *doesn't collide* polygons infront of player...
5. no waypoints...

:)
1. intresting layout...

I think it siutes 6-8 players...

:( in general this map looks unfinished...

>:( also I'm tired of deleting ugly readme.txt files

The structures are really nice, and the layout is interesting, but the terrain is so-so. The middle area would be interesting for htf/dm though.

Too lazy too waypoint, maybe I'll do it later..and yea, the color up top threw me for a loop.  Textures aren't that streached though, and there is no readme.txt...at least not one that I intended to include.

jrgp - The " has no effect on the download.  I click the link and the .rar pops up just fine.

I like the little structures you added, they're something unique. ;)

For the top shading: I suggest making a few vertice meetign points have a slightly grayer color. Just to add a sense of geometry to it.

i like the shading style you used and the layout is original except for the fact that i think right side has an advantage.
I like to have one Martini
Two at the very most
Three I'm under the table
Four I'm under the host
