[Solved] File not found when trying to run Soldatserver
« on: November 20, 2012, 11:55:26 am »
Ok, so I've got a problem and no idea how to solve it.

I'm sitting on Ubuntu 12.10, trying to setup a soldatserver.

Downloaded, unzipped etc.
I'm in the folder I'm supposed to be, files are there.

Code: [Select]
... ./soldatserver
permission denied
... chmod 777 soldatserver
... ./soldatserver
file soldatserver not found

What the heck?

Solved. I had a 64-bit Linux version.

Installing 32-bit lib helped.

Don't chmod it 777. That gives everyone full privileges, including the ability to delete it. Do 755 instead.
There are other worlds than these
