Hi,

as a soldat fan since a while now (grr can't retrieve my old forum account data), I googled a bit around to see if there is something similar but with a larger scale and I found out about "Running with Rifles" and it is AWESOME!
Anyone of you guys tested it out ? There is a free demo and the game costs 10 bucks which isn't much according to what the game offers.
Let me know if you want to give it a go, I am looking for some fresh meat

EDIT: The game is great but it takes time to get used to the shooting.. Awesome game though

hehe yes it's quite different than Soldat even if I read a few times that some guys describe it as a 3D soldat, that's actually what made me investigate a bit more into the game
I bought the full beta after testing the demo and I have to say it's way more intense with the vehicles and the driving AI, new maps, badges, etc.
And of course multiplayer is a blast. Even though I didnt have yet time to play with more than 6 people (according to the forum they already had a session with nearly 40 players on the same server!)

As I watched a let's play of Running with Rifles on youtube recently, the guy said that the game reminds him of Soldat which made me think that I could update the media in this thread as a lot has been done since I started this thread.
I am following the development of the game since a while now and was thinking of a RwR-war between some of the Soldat community against the RwR-community. 1st Match would be a Soldat match and the 2nd a RwR match. Could also be a nice publicity for both sides. What do you think?
