TTW Masters SeriesThe TTW Masters Series is a tournament which takes place regularly on Sunday evening.
What is TTW?If you know what TTW is, you can skip this section

TTW is a sophisticated variation of TW which adds a lot of tactics to the gameplay.
It should be played on gathers instead of public servers because on the latter a main feature is missing: the ticket drain system.
In a TTW gather, each team starts with the same amount of tickets (e.g. 2000) and the tickets begin to drain. Depending on how well your team performs, you lose tickets faster or slower than your opponent. The first team to reach 0 tickets loses.
Moreover, each teammember is assigned a task which gives you special commands to call in strikes for example or to conquer bunkers. A brief overview over the current tasks can be found
here. But don't worry, teams are automatically balanced by the GatherBot before the gather begins and newcomers usually play less important tasks at the beginning.
If you are curious now and you want to try it, don't worry, you don't have to read long instructions. Just join our IRC channel and ask how to play. We are very friendly towards new players and somebody will surely show you the game mechanics in a brief learning-by-doing way. If you prefer talking over writing, most of us are usually on our
TeamSpeak channel during gathers. (if you feel insecure about your English knowledge or you don't have a mic, you don't have to use TS of course
)

A team of three players is called the
TTW Masters if they are the latest winners of the weekly TTW Masters Series.
A team of three players is called the
TTW Champions if they have won the weekly TTW Masters Series more often than any other team has managed to.
The TTW Masters Series:
- the TTW Masters Series takes place weekly on Sunday evening at 7 p.m. (CET)
2- tournament gathers have to be played between 7.00 - 11.59 p.m. (CET)
3- during this time up to two different teams are allowed to challenge the current TTW Masters
The Setup:
- 3 vs 3
- best-of-three mode
4- the first/third map gets chosen by the current TTW Masters
- the second map gets chosen by the opposing team
- the team which didn't choose the map is allowed to choose its party (Alpha/Bravo)
- also, each of the three maps played in a TTW Masters tournament have to be independent
