Soldat Mod Builder.

Hey forum!
I've always had the idea of making a soldat tool to build your own mods in a simple way, for those who don't really want to get their hands on image editing. Now I'll start developing this tool and I'll start by doing the weapons part.
The program will be divided in modules that I'll be adding, I don't know how much it will take but I'll finish it.

The first module I'm working on is the weapons one, in this tool you'll be able to build your own weapons by adding parts that are already made. For example:
 You have several parts like, 3 different stocks, 4 bodies, 2 mags and 2 barrels. With those parts you would be able to build several configurations. The program will join the images and will let you pick a sound for your gun.

Next up I'll be open for suggestions, but first things first.

I'll keep you informed.

EDIT 2: Things are going fast, Now I can pick several parts and position them, I just need to create more components to have some variety.

Each type of gun will have a gun schematic and a .txt file to decide where the parts need to be positioned. This one is the Assault Rifle schematic

Yeah it would be cool Adam, but I don't think soldat is that kind of game.
Tomorrow i'll get some work done and maybe I can post a early build.

I can create stuff based on the content on several folders that the program will include. You can add new images to the folders (like lets say you create 3 new stocks, 2 bodies...) and the program will automatically add them to the combo boxes.

I'll need to play a bit with the part positioning as the underbarrels and the mags look a bit wierd, but it's fun to play with this thing.

I've been  thinking about making something like this for years, but right now... I feel like nobody is going to enjoy it... I don't want to spend my time on something that is not going to be left apart and maybe used a couple of times, I have a lot of work to do. I'm sorry

If I see that more users get interested with this I'll finish it
