Yeah I'm one of them. Don't forget Inf POW CAMP or however it was spelled. Warehouse, Messner, Rise, Rescue and a few others comprise my very favorite Soldat maps.

I still wish all the other modes would die in favor of INF, and I host a few INF servers and I wish people played in them more.

@poster: you should have your soldat url in this format: soldat://IP:port because I've hardcoded these forums to make that link format clickable.

Yep, facebook seems more fit for that than the forum. INF is on almost every day (usually in the evening Polish time) now with full server.

Just started playing.

It's my opinion though, that there are too many maps, and some of them are realy unbalanced or too big, especialy since the usual number of players is 8 or less.

Other than that, it's realy great to see people playing infiltration.
I always join, since it's my favourite mode and I'm REALY tired of ctf_ash being played the whole damn time in ctf games.

List of maps is based on the most popular maps played on INF servers last years, I selected the most comfortable and quite small maps to "recruit" new players
However some of the maps are easier for alpha, some for bravo. It's not easy to balance maps for a mode like infiltration where teams have different task to win.

That's true. Balancing an infiltration map is realy hard.

I think most Soldat players have an offensive strategy and I've noticed that some can't really get into the whole offense/defense thing. It's roleplay, really. If you're blue team, you don't go into the red base, unless you have to chase a flagcarrier. You defend the base at the most usefull spot.

Anyway, I think that some maps should be reviewed again. I can give you an opinion on some of these maps if you want in a private discussion. Also maybe I can also contribute a map or two. I used to be quite skilled with the map maker.
