Hello!
We got a lot of new bugreports after we released 1.6.4 so this week we focused on fixing them.
Some unknown bugs were fixed as well but for the most part you can see our progress by looking at the changes in the bugtracker (or by reading the irc channels).
The bugtracker is more important now then it was in the past. The goal is to use the bugtracker as the main point for picking up things to work on instead of just doing something.
jrgp is currently helping us with migrating the svn repository with our source code and the media repository to git. We had some discussion about how the end result could look like and what has to be done and I hope everything will be on git by the end of next week.
I've been looking for solution on how to make cheating less appealing as an addition to integrating the anticheat.
You will find two new pages on the wiki one for
known cheats and one for
anticheat ideas as a result. Feel free to contribute!
Both will help us to update the netcode in such a away that some of the cheats wont work anymore.
About the Anti-Cheat itself: Time will show if we want to create a bugfix release first or release once the anticheat api is ready (which will take longer).
Thats it for this week, sorry for the delay in the devlog
