i want to buy a laptop computer for gam....i mean studying

......anyhow...it should be able to run battlefield 2 with medium/high settings and acceptable FPS. Budget is around 1300€ (yes, i live in finnland). Give me exmples of comps and ill see if i can find them from finnish websites. (I have posted on dozens of forums, but all links i get give me crappy comps).

i want comp with ATLEAST these specs:

AMD 3500+ or higher (should give around 2.2Ghz)
1GB RAM
good vid card...i think Nvidia geforce go 6800 is pretty good, but im no expert

(above x600 is enough, but better is always better).

most computer models are probably available here so feel free to post links to ANY laptop.

ps: i trust: HP, acer, fujitsu-siemens, asus.....hmm...and maybe toshiba..(it sounds real cheap

).

you can build laptops, you just need to be good with getting the right sizes of stuff so it fits into the "case".

It is in a way. I'll never bother to build a laptop, but I'd easily do a PC. I'd say get a Dell or a nice used one from eBay. Laptops aren't really for gaming, at least compared to a PC, and you'll find an equivalent setup to cost quite a bit more. Technology cheapens so quickly that I don't think I could bring myself to buy something new and expensive like a computer anymore, but maybe that's just me.

my friend has 1300€ HP laptop that can run bf2 nicely with graphics set to medium/high.....
I dont need a superb computer that can run all the newest games..just BF2 and possibly BF:2142 once it comes out. (oh wait, BF2 is quite new and heavy game).....i have visited almost every electronics store that sells computers around here......im starting to get quite desperate....oh well...

Just for the record. I heard 2142 uses same (at least similar) engine to bf2 and therefore the specs will be similar.

512 Ram, ATI Radeon Xpress 200 graphics card. Sucks for games. It's has all the original parts from the store. (Staples) I want to upgrade as soon as I get a job, but no one will hire me. >.>

Build a desktop, it will be much cheaper, better, and more upgradeable. Also there is lots more personalization that can be done.
