[ACCEPTED] NUMPAD Taunts

I think it could be useful, at least for me I'd use it as a command-taunts section of the keyboard.
Alt+NUM1 - /pause
Alt+NUM2 - /adminlog *pass*

Maybe could also be useful for taunts in TTW cause they have so many commands.

etc...

I think you are currently able to do that

edit: nope and there are 36 possible taunts are there more commands?

Well, my point is to make it editable just like taunts.txt..
So there isn't a need to have anything pre-set up.

The taunt stuff is very limited currently, so I guess this should be considered.
Some keys are already used by soldat (alt+f3) so we cannot extend it for all keys but i guess the numpad could work.

While we're at it, would it be possible to also display keys themselves in taunts.txt? So that if you're using notepad to edit your taunts, you could still see which key you're assigning a taunt to.

Yeah, I have been using "TauntEdit V2". Whereas it's not even available anymore mostly.
And I think having taunts or even pre-set taunts that come with the game that are actually useful:
"Inc up" and not "Die!", Might make new-comers realize there's more to it in this game.

If somebody's gonna put the Voice Taunts, they aren't really comfortable in a fast paced match and can be sync'ed with regular taunts.
So that, in my opinion, only slows you down.

Continuing on the subject of taunts:
The game should come with more useful taunts and maybe an explanation txt for it, to motivate joining a community and clans.
Even maybe an ingame way to change taunts, because it's a burden to begin writing it down in a notepad software.

This thread is about numpad taunts i guess you should make another one for the ingame taunt editor.

I didn't touch any taunt related code since last time but I'm using a keyboard with numpad now so thats a start ;)
We have a lot of stuff planned for 1.7 and there is no time to add stuff for 1.6.7.
But i guess it could accidentially get into 1.7.
I'll mark this feature request as accepted

Implemented taunts for numpad: numpad0-numpad9, divide, multi, minus, plus, separator/decimal - in this order for 1.6.9

Btw the taunts need alt+(the key) like all other keys.

@darDar 1.6.9 is the soldat version after 1.6.8.
