Hi

the idea is: pressing both [ left ] and [ right ] movement keys keeps you going in the first direction pressed but slower

Maybe for Realistic mod. Don't see why you'd need it in Normal.

Nothing against nosejj, but
This, my friends, is mindless and dumb. This a change of general movement and controls (i.e how you make your Soldat move), it shouldn't be dependent on which mode you're playing. You don't have different movesets for those two, even though there are different tactics involved. I don't see why realistic mode should have it, but not normal. Why dump useless/bad things and ideas to R-players anyway?

In general, I don't see any harm at this, but I won't jump to conclusions. I have already lost touch to Soldat controls D:.

Well, if so then I am against any change in this matter.
Don't see a reason for it to be useful to the main mode of the game.

If you don't press UP you are walking slow. Is there a Don't need anything more than that, and we should not have differnt movement on different sub-gamemodes. F11

Something like this might be cool if you could sneak up that way, meaning no sound file would be played.

Hi

some more ideas:

- slower walking player dont starts to roll by pressing [ crouch ]

- slower walking player1 collide to not moving player2

- slower walking player1 collide to slower walking player2 if both walk and looking on each other to

- colliding players starts punch by pressing [ fire ]

- normal walking player1 collide to slower walking player2 if both run in the same direction and player2 is looking at player1

- if player1 try roll trought slower walking player2 then player2 brings player1 in proned position by pressing [fire]

- proned player1 can not start roll trough colliding player2

- using cannonball to pass through any player who is trying to collide

regards

Collisions between player models are gonna need improvements to the engine, afaik only thing capable of registering collision to players is polygons. Now, please stop the trolling.
