Hi everyone,

I have to announce that SpiltCoffee left the dev team as he had less free time than expected and therefore couldn't find the time to work on soldat.
He didn't want to stay on the dev team without being able to work on soldat.

He told me that he could still help us with git once we moved away from svn and I want to thank him for his support.
It is unfortunate that things didn't work out as expected.

In other news there where a few bugfixes for the beta1 (sorry for the lack of details).
The missing server in lobby bug seems not to be happening on windows - where i tested it. Any info about when it is not working would be helpful.

I want to release another beta on friday and then another one to test simple updater replacement i wrote (no more popups).

The secret project Fryer worked on is complete. It will not really get into 1.6.7 but we learned from it for 1.7.
There is another secret project I started which we might reveal in the coming weeks.

And that's it for this week.

Nice, I would really like to know what is that  secret project of Fryer....

offtopic: I just realize that would be cool if Soldat would work on Linux, so maybe you could talk with one of linux based system to make soldat build in game.... That would be cool  [pigtail]
Imagine people playing Soldat instead of Solitaire  ;D

Soldat doesn't work on linux without wine so it's not an option unless we get it on linux.

Thanks! I wrote it as i was falling asleep (and im lucky i saved the text to my clipboard because soldatforums timed out after i hit post so i could paste it when i woke up :D)
I fixed another bug in the text (still had 3 l :) )

I use linux as my main os since december (hint hint)
