I would definitely buy this game if it were on steam. It's just perfect. No bullshit, no useless 3D, just plain fun action. You *need* to make this title available on steam.

There are a few steam request threads on this forum already, all i can say atm is that soldat is not ready for steam. Some game breaking bugs need to be fixed before can think about steam (microlags, fullscreen windows 8 issue, fps issues to name a few).
"Early Access" on 14 years old game sounds like the release is gonna happen somewhere in the next century.
I would make the decision not to join.
I am a SOLDAT vet and I came back to play this update. And I'm thinking to myself. You guys would literally be rolling around in millions if you put this shit on STEAMI GUARENTEE SOLDAT would make it to the Top Sellers list on the first few pages.Price it at $15SOLDAT would go viral! There is only 30 people playing online right now. This is sad. There would be HUNDREDS if SOLDAT was on STEAM.You deserve so much recognition and $$$ for this amazing, unique, no bullshit game that I spent much of my younger days enjoying.Moderated: Merged with existing thread. The Early Access 'Store' is supposed to be for alpha/beta/... staged games, to get bugs reported, suggestions gathered and build a community of interested people. Soldat, a 14 years old game, where 99% of the bugs are known to the devs, the forums are overloaded with suggestions and simply the fact that it's NOT in alpha/beta/... stage as the matter of the fact that it was released 14 years ago, should be enough to not qualify it for !Early! Access. I'm always happy of any kind of PR that would help Soldat, but not by putting it on places where it does not belong to. If you want to get this game on STEAM, there are a few things which need to be done first and all of them are known (making the whole game more user friendly, accounts/stats/achievements, new menu, anti-cheat, less 'eats' (better netcode), auto-updater, global visual theme).
Calm down, we are going to announce some good news pretty soon.
It's almost impossible to retain new players. The game is ugly as fuck for this generation. Also there's no news about what is going on. Ok, there's a new map makers team, but there's no dev logs. We were excited for 10 minutos and nothing more.

Hopefully I'll be able to make some teasers in November.
hey, just wanted to say too that I think it would be awesome if this game were added to Steam (even maybe Greenlight idk). it would bring new players, which would bring feedback, and also people who are willing to contribute! even with bugs and all this game is AWESOME. just needs proper push. btw, this new version is looking fresh as hell
theres a bazilion steam users with shitty computers that want to play this
make it free or cheap
