I present you my map. Focused mostly on fastepaced gameplay and close combat encounters. There is a bunch of places where you can use m79/nade boosting along with flag throwing so there is a bit of room for some teamplaying aswell xB. Anyway, here it is:

Maps should always begin with capital letters in my opinion.
From what I've seen from you last thread, this map seems really good. I also like the look of it & the fact that the map is a lot about teamplay.

I will have a closer look into it later !

Oh yeah,
The first letter capitalized is important for convenience. Since other ctf maps in leagues have it.


I'm curious about which tactics players will develop for this map. I would imagine it a bit like ctf_Death but with more space for creative strats.

After testing the map I must admit that it might be way to small. I think that was your aim regarding the first name of the map  :P ..
But I think you should enlarge the map a bit since it is really hard to go through certain areas.
The route on the very low is not much larger than your character is. I think it should at least be 2x your character.
Overall you might try to enlarge the map about 30%.

So, this is just my personal opinion but I think it's quite a problem for a 'default map candidate' if it's a map which is for 'ctf  pro gamers only'.
Nevertheless this map is amazing & somewhat new and I would vote for it to be added in the upcoming release (unless it will be enlarged a bit)

I wasn't completely serious with the prototype name :B Making the map bigger shouldn't be too hard. I'll make a bigger version for comparison. Thanks for feedback :]

Ok, made a bigger version (30%) and i think darDar was right, feels smoother i think:

If i can have some sugestions for this map.

Like on screen. Mid ground make it bigger and this polygon through which you can throw flag longer to respawn spot and low ground lower. All for make it nice to Law-lovers, cuz now law useless in my opinion. Also going to low is strange betwen 2 polys.

Edit: I forgot. Green line means poly who hurt flaggers (or all. i don't know) :)

What do you mean by making mid "bigger"?
The flag throw spot should be just wider by cutting the normal poly on the left (the side closer to the spawns) or both sides? I can make it wider on the right by a few cm still.
I guess i can move the bottom part lower, but I'm not sure about making changes for law - I don't want to change the layout too much, but if you have any specific ideas that you think would make LAW more usefull here, post them I'll see what i can do. In the end I can always say "just pick something that works" but I guess that won't pass xB

Green part -I don't want hurt polies anywhere, unless you tell me why would it be a good choice but i don't think I'll add them.

Edit: Sooo mid i bigger. low is "lower" and also bigger a litte. And poly-not-colliding with flag and bullet longer :)

I moved bottom part as low as i could (I want CB from bottom to be possible to perform) and moved the OPC poly closer to the spawns. I didn't touch mid because I think its too few space in there to make it bigger and it would make going bottom way harder and i don't want it.
If there is nothing more I think I'll make it the default version.
Maybe if it gets more popular and people will demand some changes i can think about it but right now I think I'm done with it.

I think mid line is for def-flag catcher so it must be more "uphill" and harder imo, but independently of your decision this map will one of my fav if it will be in 1.6.7 :)

Hmm, how about moving the very middle part up a bit like this:

This way the bottom is more spacious and middle more curvy. What do you think?

Your maps always look fantastic visually-wise. You should try and make some more 'competative-scene' intended maps.
I mean, in this map for example it's really hard to gain fast speed, it's small and compressed. So it may be okay for a 2v2.

I'd love seeing a map with these graphics in 3v3 leagues, but with an ability for a fast-paced match. :o

Its small, but I won't say you cant get fast speed, I'd say more - its way easier than on some of the defaults people play in leagues IMO. It was meant to be 3v3 map and i think its fully playable for 3v3. Hard to test 3v3 games on a singleplayer tho, believe me, I've tried.
