As always, very well executed.

Colors, shading and shapes are tasteful.

Great job especially considering you had to go out of your comfort zone style-wise.

Have you thought about working on the default maps? Out of most of the mappers I find your style the most suited for Soldat in its current state and I'd love to see the default (CTF) maps get some much needed loving. p0ppin was magnificent too but he doesn't seem very active...

Viral, you're the best mapper we ever had by far in the terms of visuals.
As a member of the map team, I am interested at seeing remakes from you. Soldat default maps need a good visual overhaul for sure.

I'm loving it!

We just played it 7vs7 on a R/S CS server, was fun. Can't wait to test it 3vs3 in a competitive game :)

Glad to hear you like it <3 It's my first time when i used sketch and actually followed it to the end xB There's a problem with flag colliders, so the tower on the top doesn't exactly work as we wanted, but it shouldn't be gamebreaking.

About the defaults topic - fine, I guess i can try to remake MFM or sth, give me 2 weeks or so and I'll catch you on #soldat.mapping but srsly, finish Ash already xD

If i understand you correctly, you think that the boards should be OPC. I'm not gonna change it because i talked to Mittsu about it and he said they should by Normal. Maybe after some tests I'll change it if there will be a need to.

although it poszeż this map as a sniper because I can not play this map well just do not have good pools maneuver.

I don't want to make it wider only because it's not next heaven for snipers. There are thousands of maps suitable for snipers where playing with HK is a masochism. Not to mention i'd have to redo half of the map..

Just played it, all players vote next map after 3min :]

Definitely too small, passages are to narrow most of good spots and windows are blocked. Don't see any good spots for LAW or Barret, and even with styer its damn tight to make any tactic on it. its just useless rush and dodging polybugs.

*You NEED to make it wider, especially main hall.
*Add passage in tower
*Make basement bigger 
*Wider both sides of team spawns

for now its just look good on image but its hard to play it even with 3v3

just by looking at the map i can already see 5 sniper spots for each side, and what's wrong with not making barrett overpowered on every r/s cs map for once?

plus, this map was based on de_nuke layout, where there are about the same or even less sniping spots

Like always there is too much talk based on just looking on map.

Im saying what people thought about it when we played it. Its damn small, passages are to tight, some windows spots are blocked for players, and by spots for LAW and barrett i mean spots for one shoot to clear the passage for teammates(long blank shoot)

it's a matter of preference, i like that the possibility of mindless campsniping through entire map is hardly possible here. The element of surprise rush and dynamics is better in this map and i'm glad it's different than other maps (well, not all, because there are maps like that: nuke, deagle5, dust2, oilrig etc.)

by the way, you're still welcome to make an r/s cs map, we will surely use it on our server and it can be more like italy, dust, piranesi etc. if you prefer more open maps :)

Dont have mood for such maps, beside im not fan of camping so  we can say that "im not compatible" with such maps :) it would took me more time than making 3ctf maps :)

yeah i can easily imagine these maps are energy consuming

on the other hand, at least you'd be sure it's used on a public server :)

Looking at reception of viral map i could imagine that xd xd [sarcasm] but to be honest i dont care to make my map on public, as i said loots of time PW for me its just another graphic program that give me fun.

But that was about something else tho :) about overall reaction of players to REMAKES.
Viral maps just need some polishing, especially size and top/bottom passages

well I didn't say that its bad, "delete it NOW, BLEEEEEEEE" its just too small, and this one flaw make this map really "medium" in terms of gameplay.

I wrote my opinion, based on actual gameplay with others players, not only by look of it and to summarize this again:
1. its look very good
2. Its definitely too small
3. some passages are to tight and blocked(like windows in tower)
4. basement should be way bigger, just like area between spawn points and building.

and what Viral do with this opinion is up to him :]

As long as there are some positive opinoins I'm not gonna do anything and maybe wait a bit for some clanwars 3v3. I can see it being too small for pubs where people usually play 6v6 (pks servers). There's always an option to make it whole ~20% bigger and make the basement wider as yuo said but I won't do it right now, because I'm lazy :B Maybe do a nice, >polygon< based map so you will make me move my lazy ass and try to keep up with you xB Believe me, with your PS skills I find RS/CS maps the best place for you, just try like i did - for science. Thx for your opinion tho, glad to see so much feedback <3
