Crap, am I the only who has never seen akira?

No, I've seen it many a time.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams it is
still a beautiful world.  Strive to be happy.

Wtf, no 1984? No Phillip K. ****? And what about Vonnegut, Sirens of Titan? Slaughterhouse Five?

I agree. The lack of 2001, Metropolis, Forbidden Planet, Farenheit 451, Close Encounters, and other more worthwhile, complex and thoughtful science fiction is sad.

Fahrenheit 451 is pretty awesome, but how come no one else likes Aldous Huxley? :(

Ah, the cube trilogy. Just watched the first one again today. They are all great, and I really liked how the ending of the last movie links it to the first.

On an off-topic note, I have a problem with rewatching movies i've seen before. I swear to god, i've seen Independence Day at LEAST 30 times. With a running time of 2 hours and 25 minutes, thats 72 hours and 50 minutes i've spent watching indepence day. 3 days. Cube i've seen a half dozen times or so, not including the sequels. If I keep this crap up 2/5ths of my life will be spent re-watching movies.
