Hello folks,
we didn't post any devlogs recently, it's been a busy time.
But some stuff actually happened, especially survival got some love.
That's what we've been doing:
- Added settings option to clear weapons in survival after round end
- Fixed survival capping when everybody is alive results in a not ending round
- Fixed survival flag grabbing in multiplayer should not work after round end
- Fixed invisible shield where a player died (this time for real)
- Fixed survival mode respawning if out of map after round end results in a never ending round
- Fixed survival mode dead body outside map respawn bug
- Fixed survival mode team switch respawn bug
- Fixed votes started via script didn't work properly
- Fixed SC3 joining the game increases sometimes team count by 2 instead of 1
- Fixed SC3 Game.Teams Player property returned nil or an error
- Fixed wrong weapon IDs passed to scriptcore2 functions (OnWeaponChange, OnPlayerDamage, OnPlayerKill)
Other than that the installer for 1.7 got some attention.
The idea is to have a one click installer like the one for the opera browser.
Sadly InnoSetup requires Delphi 2009 (expensive!) to do direct changes so have to work around this with scripting.
We have a (visual) prototype for this but there are some visual issues (with no easy fix?) so not sure if it will work out.
So what's stopping us now from 1.6.9? We still need feedback for two things:
Firstly, the SCTFL banner.gif:
We still need one which is 256kb or less in size (no animation required).

Secondly, some feedback on the
new default weapon mod would be nice.
As we would like to include it in the next version.
Other than that nothing has to be said. So, let's hope for a beta soon.
