little redesign, filters over it, less oldschool, new logo, study how it would look like with some todays gfx trends over it

The secret to flashy modern visuals is not in filters, blur and bloom, but in the shaders. Today's trend is pretty much a mashup of texture normal maps, depth maps, occlusion maps and specular maps. You see them in every modern engines both 3D and 2D.

You could work on some forgotten interfaces (other than classic, cabbage and micro). This would help a bit.
