^ About gathers being excluded from the 'public community': Yes, that has always been the case but everyone who wants to play soldat in a competitive manner will find out about where we are and how to join us.

but its bad for the newcomers right now due to the skills gap being too far apart between high and low skilled players.

That's certainly something a gather needs, no matter for which game. Beginners are not welcome as this place is for players with advanced skills. A total 'noob' would just harm gathers as the chances would be really high that his assigned team would lose any map.

We have had that certain case a few times where people were just that bad that we actually had to permanently ban them. Anyone who has some CTF knowledge and basic Soldat skills will be welcome though and will improve rapidly participating in gather games.

Add One Shot, too, please. With Snipes, M79, Knives and LAWs only This mode is actually quite popular - there is one server that is always filled with players.

Yet, I'm worried everyone gonna take Snipe on gathers. And I'm M79 user

Btw. you think you could change this yellow font into something a bit darker? See attached picture.

IRC does not send specific color values, it just sends "Yellow". You have to adjust/fix that client side.

Due to latest events and to get rid of people who might possibly ban-evade we decided to make #Soldat Gather invite only.

I already added most players to our whitelist, so most of you should be able to play and add to gathers.

For the people who are not whitelisted yet:

Please send a PM to me or other admins on IRC and include your nickname and your authname.

Some notes: 
1a) Any attempt of sneaking a false auth will result in a permanent ban.
1b)  If you query us, be authed.
1c) Don't ever share your auth and don't ever use the /auth command in an active channel window. If it ever occurs that you accidently share your auth login details please change your password as fast as possible and inform gather admins.
1d) Please pay some special attention to some of our rules:
5. Don't ever add for someone else and don't share IP's of game servers.

Also note our new rule:
7. Please enable 'High Resolution Timer' in Soldat's config.exe to play on our servers.

Feature request:

Unranked gathers for too bored with haxors/campers/spawners/uncompetitive 7v7 and too weak for ranked gathers (me precisely).
