(1/1)

About NoNameMod
This full modification is not supposed to make Soldat look better in any way,
instead I aimed for the perfect way to simplify the game graphics
in such a way to make it more suitable for professional gaming.
Features
In general:
* fully compatible with Soldat 1.7+
* optimized for 4K resolution
* full modification: weapons, textures, gosteks, sparks, sceneries*
* permissible in SCTFL and other leagues
Weapons:
* unicoloured weapons with individual look for each weapon
* colour schemes: same colour for weapon, bullets and clips
* striking colours for most dangerous weapons
* weapon menu/killlog: same weapon design, black edges
* transparent shells to remove clutter
Textures:
* same colour for all textures (almost black)
Gosteks:
* all player model parts with black edges
* white blood
Sparks:
* neon ring explosions with tranparent smokes
* custom spawning spark
* white blood files
* transparent odlamek-files to remove clutter
Sceneries:
* grey-coloured sceneries (shadings preserved)
* only grey sceneries on most maps, some maps colour them separately (still unicoloured, though)
* *needs to be installed to Soldat/ main folder manually (overwrite existing sceneries)
Download
> DOWNLOAD NoNameMod (NNM.zip) < [Mirror]
> DOWNLOAD Sceneries (NNM_Sceneries.zip) < [Mirror]
Installation
1. Install NNM
* Download NNM.zip and extract it to Soldat/mods [in order to use it with mod starter]
* Alternative: Extract NNM.zip to Soldat/ and overwrite contents (not suggested!)
2. Install NNM_Sceneries
* Backup your existing Soldat/scenery-gfx folder
* Download NNM_Sceneries.zip, extract it to Soldat/ and overwrite contents
3. Modify Soldat.ini
* Backup your existing Soldat.ini file and set the following values to Soldat.ini:
* Map_Background_Color1=$00333333
* Map_Background_Color2=$00333333
* Force_Background_Color=1
* Render_Background=0
* Optional but suggested:
* Weather=0
* Effect1=0 && Effect2=0
4. Use it!
* NNM in Soldat/mods: Run starter.exe and select NoNameMod OR run Soldat.exe with -mod NoNameMod
* NNM in Soldat/ main folder: Simply run Soldat.exe as usual
Recommendation: Use Simplex as interface.
Further information and credits
I am well aware that this mod will not suit everyone, as you may have different preferences for specific settings.
In this case you can modify the NNM in any way you would like to. Due to the plain colours it's very easy to change specific colours.
If you do so, I would be happy to see my work credited properly. Please read included Readme.txt for further info.
If you need any help, you may contact me at any time.
Enjoy!
Bistoufly:
Awesome mod my friend!
Congratulations for the release!
pavliko:
Gonna try it now, will edit my post soon
EDITED: I'm stealing half of your mod for personal use.
Half because it just feels like not all weapon colors are "simplified" enough :D (for my own personal taste I guess)
Other than that, it really made everything more simple, on a 10vs10 ctf I could actually see whats going on
darDar:
the gostek's need to be added as default, first time that the character actually looks good with the new HD now!
Overall it's a great and clean mod perfect for competitive play but also just to have fun. It looks really great!
CCalp:
Thanks for your nice feedback, friends. Glad you like it! :]
@pavliko: Which colours did you change? Just being curious.
