there are just way too many exploits to attack soldat servers - that really needs to be fixed..
 don't register your server to lobby..

True. Many people talk about it. This fool attacks the servers and CPU usage increases to 200-1000%.

No options for fixing nade/med-kit spawns, and wm? Those are of highest priority.
Also integrated gather/pick-up/ranked is a MUST, same could be used for "quick match", where it just throws everyone into a server with certain criteria (like 3v3 or 4v4, and close to SCTFL settings).

Ranked matchmaking system is what EVERY popoulated game uses now, even if its a dream to what Soldat is right now, it should be at least on TODO list, couldn't think of something better than this, would be amazing, glorious.

Oh...Turkish, that reminds me of someone... a guy/girl/gey/whatever , he is super annoying and talks like a 13yo. He alos has bad habit starting sentences with lower case letters and smashing things made of glass.

I think that maps like ctf_Ruins which are not even being played on publics are just waste of time for person who is going to remake them with new graphics. Better to replace them with fresh ones from gather maplist or just reduce the amount of maps and contantly update them on steam (people like this kind of news). Probably in others gamemodes there are also these kind of useless maps which don't bring anything new to gameplay.

You were still in the devteam when te whole Slack idea launched, and basically the whole map dev team project was gravitating around the idea of removing ugly maps. The whole drama/discussion evolved from the official statement we posted here on forums, you will everything related to it here. Honestly missing it is kind of amusing, so I guess I'll let you search for it, maybe you will find some other interesting things you missed while looking for it

Im not even near the dev team, for past 2 years Im not active at all, I dont even have game installed on my laptop, Im checking forum only when some friend tell me that someone post something interesting, and its look like I know more about current state of game than you... amazing...

If you don't want to update me on the topic, that's fine.

Sorry to burst your bubble but if you accepted to be dev again, for free, in your free time, its your damn F job to be updated. Its a matter of spending maybe 40 minutes checking forum and asking people what is going on.
If you cant spend few minutes to check what people need what they talk about and what they think... I will not even think how screwed Soldat is because of that...

Steam or not, if this is approach you, and rest of devs gonna take. Just give up, seriously, it will be like kicking dead body in grave. It will be the same as for past years, where we have bunch of friends that tinker game for their own needs, that dont give a flying cow about overall situation, game market and players need.
You will probably gonna spend all time making the game for few competitive players from gather and literally pissing on other players and idea of getting new ones. Like you all forgot that your beloved "competitive players from gather" played first in public servers, that guess what? Is the first place new players check, and right now when new player install Soldat and enter game, he will quit after few second. If you really treat this job seriously you would do everything to get new players, keep an eye on market your aiming for, get all available help possible, use community to get help, not nurse old morons who will spend rest of their lives talking about how WM for one version is better than other.
