player balance and bonus

boost your playstyle using 3 balance points

weight : choose between floaty or heavy character gravity

also BONUS powerup
some retro games "powerups" where the actual shit
think bout quake ... the player who owned the powerups owned the game

this is an important aspect of the game so powerups should be benefical again (and active on servers)
"predator" should last until the player dies
"cluster nade" should do massive damage (never got points with that thing xD)
there needs to be a "makes u faster for a while" power up
there also could exist a "Jetx2" something that makes ur jet twice more powerful for while

maybe foolish but this could spice it up a bit in some ways

I'm not on board with the player balance idea personally. I think gravity in Soldat & the way the player moves is very well defined & the suggestions you make would have drastic effects on the game.

I'd be interested to see more bonus items, though.

Speed buff is something I've thought about before.
Not sure about making Predator last until you die. I think part of the excitement of that power up is trying to utilise it in the limited time.

The issue is that most servers have bonus items turned off so it may be wasted time for dev to focus on them.

I have scripts on my server which gives bonus items directly to player's for killing the 'bunny' (which is randomly assigned to a player at the start of each survival round) so technically I don't even have traditional bonus drops activated.

You can buy the bonus items using the points you've earned on my server, though. !shop is pretty popular feature.

Infinite predator mode - that would be a wet dream of every camper.

I had the idea to merge all the bonus kit settings into weapons.ini rather than having it hardcoded like it's right now. This won't happen for 1.7.1 tho but maybe we'll see it in another release.
Servers have bonuses off because they make no sense.
Bonuses may be a great addition to soldat, if you could actually modify them to be useful.

The randomness of bonus and kits should go away. This would improve the gameplay experience.

im just asking for something new to toy with xD

player balance may add more "expression" and new tactical degree
weight change would make new dance moves blah blah
.. like it could have a "check" serverside to allow customplayer or use default
dunno its seems like a lot of hassle too..

infinite predator .. it would be awesome xD seriously ..

also a "bullets trayectory display" bonus would be insane .. u grab a sort of "hi-tech" helmet and ur soldier can see it all xDD i mean cheaters already did this.. wtf

or a "C4" secondary weapon  soldier place a c4 and make it boom with your click or when its touched..
i can see the lolz xD

For God's sake, do not ruin this game by destroying its essence, the principle of the game is that everyone has the same playing conditions, please do not change that.

u jokin right? characters got different guns to face each other, that makes them "different" gameplay wise
also lag issues..
10 ms lag player vs 250 ms lag aint even close to "the same condition"

That's something different. Yet, I hope you didn't mean that player with higher ping has more difficult life... Oh no! I noticed that some players make advantage of ping in order to eat much more what results in extending their life virtually.
