Soldat is now available on Steam!

Dear Soldaters,

The moment many of us have been so patiently waiting for has finally arrived. We're happy to announce that Soldat has just been published on Steam!
The version on Steam is an improved version of Soldat 1.7.1. A full change-log will follow on the steam page once bugfixes are done.

On top of that, the source for Soldat 1.8 will go open-source in the next week.

We would like take this as an opportunity to thank the developers team who invested so many hours into improving this game that we all hold so dearly.

Around May 2002 - first beta --> 18 years later - Soldat on Steam
I guess we can thank Corona for that (yea, I know bad joke)...

Very nice! I can't believe it finally happens. This is my childhood game and so many memories. It is s good to see Soldat is on Steam so many more players can enjoy it.
I wonder if the devs still intend to do the Mac version for Soldat tho?

2 Days ago it was 455 players. Nice. Of course all of them are noobs so it was hilarious watching them fight with physics, their guns and figuring out which key does which. But it won't be long again that I'll be on the bottom of the scoreboard. XD

80-90% of servers have ping 9999 in lobby. Refreshing the lobby does absolutely nothing. These servers are working normally and after joining the ping is 0-33!

Please, fix it!  :-\

Fuck! The same problem here with my server. I'm fucking disappointed because I hate platform like a steam origin games for windows live uplay etc.

In my opinion, it would be better to have one version of the game (steam) for everyone. And link to steam version on soldat.pl website. There would be no problems like this.

This problem was a long time ago (1.7.1) . Just click on the server and the ping will refresh.

It's useless  ;D I'm talking about basic version download from here:
https://soldat.pl/en/download/soldat171.zip

Version from steam show the servers ping normally.
