NOOoo!! MAN!!! i were thinking about tat too, the game rocks, killing zombies, spiders and etc...
i made a map for that on a graveyard lol. But with the weapons mode must be very cool.

I already made a ripped Crimson mod; it can be found in the archives.

Crimsonland, like Soldat, is a fine example of how brilliant 2 dimensional games can be.

It just needs some vs multiplayer and more gamemodes, and it'd be a winner.

Anyway, I didn't know there was a mod for this. I'm not a big fan of using mods, but I might check it out. ;D

Crimsonland (the current one is $hareware; the old free version can be found at GameHippo) is a top-down survival shooter where you take on hordes of zombies, giant spiders, and aliens in a relatively small arena. They come from all edges of the monitor and slowly overwhelm you. It's a freakin' awesome game, and I can't believe I didn't see that Vltava made a mod for it earlier.

anyways i think it would be kinda weird to make weapons from CL in soldat....

 i have the game and i think it would be an alright idea iguess, but hey i always like to see something new...

It would be great if the game had alien gosteks too, but all the kinds of monsters in dat game are cool, so it would be cool if you gase make a gostek for all of them !!!
Can we use the poa editor 2 make the lizards and spiders ?

You can't. then all then the people would move strangely as well.
Plus spiders are arachnids. Arachnids have 8 legs. Last I saw soldiers have 2 legs and 2 arms. (For the stupid people, we are missing 4 limbs)

However otherwise the mod could be ok. However you'd need ten billion bots.

Crimsonland has a weapon called Gauss gun dat kills evrything in front. So, is it possible 2 make a weapon like this in Soldat? Maybe in the ini. file ?
It would be cool; because instead of killing just one guy, it could kill a bunch of dem.

Crank the speed way way up.
You'll notice that bullets are slowed somewhat by hitting people, but they continue. That's why we get double Barrett kills sometimes. Crank it up enough and the speed reduction won't be noticable, resulting in a gauss-like shot.

Barrett speed=9999 is interesting, but just too cheap for me.  Still, kinda interesting if you can get enough zombie bots to line up.
To sum up my point: We had a multipage debate about toilet padding. (Putting TP in the water so you don't get splashed.)
And we still don't know if dead guys can keep a stiffy.

lol, in the game there are only one or two enemies who use projectile weapons. The rest could be Boogie Men. 20 or 30 would be easily enough to all go on one team (or to mod the bot file so that they recognize other Boogie Men as allies in DM or whatnot).
