how do you get little stars next to ur name on forums, and how do u get pics in sig. and, wat does karma do? if i sound like a noob, its cuz i am

Those starts under your name change with how many posts you have.
Dont just post to get more stars, thats not the point of the forum.

But read the rules first

As for Karma, you must have atleast 25 posts to use it, once you have 25 posts you can Applaud or Smite any user who has atleast 25 posts.
If you applaud someone the karma number goes up, if you smite someone it goes down.

I have a question somewhat similiar - I noticed a couple of times a little dot appearing to the left of my name at the end of a match  - once it was a white dot and a couple of times it was a black and white thing. What do they mean?

The white dot is an indicator of which name on the list is yours.

When a black dot occur in front of a name(with a white cross inside it, I believe) it means they're dead. As simple as that.

Actually, you can smite anyone, no matter how many posts they have, as long as you have >=25.
