Make Soldat's tracker player less fascist. I've been having to bend over backwards to make / modify music to fit in it. Nothing wrong with the .it and .xm formats (nor the choice to use them), but how about fully supporting them?

That's all from me. Other than that I love Soldat. Great game.

The reason why the musics are in a very funny format is because to encourage people to register. If the format would be, for example, mp3 or wav, then people wouldn't have to register to listen music when playing Soldat.

No, I love .it and .xm, half of my music is in it. But the way Soldat supports (*cough*) the formats are horrible. I can't simply use any song, I have to trim channels, rip out macros, lose any special effects...

I just want Soldat to play .it and .xm properly, instead of giving me an uncomprehensible error message when I clash heads over something like the hard-coded arbitrary 11 channels in gore.it.

But just run winamp, set your playlist and then run the game -> You listen to music while playing...

Don't really need all the register and what not.

I use another media program at the side of it when i play, like WMP or Winamp....

I just play windows media player in the backround, that works fine for me.

512 Ram
ATI Radeon X200 graphics card
3500+ AMD Sempron Processor
160 GB Hard drive

Yeah, it's very average. You probably have more RAM than I do. :/

When I used to play Soldat with 256mb of RAM, it never lagged. Even with Winamp in the background.

(now i have 1.2 gigs though, kekekeke)

No one is listening to the suggestion. All of you are like "YESAAAA SODLAT NEDES MOOR MUSIC LOLOO USE WMP TEH PLAILIST SHOULD HAVE XM SUPOPRT LOLOLOKGPLLLLlASDtrgl;" and that's not at all what he's asking for. I'm not very amazing when it comes to facts about xm or it, but I know that soldat uses both formats to very limited extents. I was working on some enhanced weather sounds (21 seconds of rain w/ thunder) to better the atmosphere of maps, when my XM file started to glitch out. I too would like MM to fix this.

You need Winamp, I think, and create a playlist using Winamp. I think its stupid anyway.
