Barret is so terrible against autos, I don't see why you would complain about M79.

i choose barrett. I'm not too fond of using either, but i dont really like the m79.....i've tried it, but i can't seem to hold my own with it

I use m79 more than barret. I admit, I love the boost and if you can get used to ricochet or the way ammo goes, it's awesome weapon.

I voted Barrett , because I used it 1.1.3 - 1.2 so I'm in love :p The M79 boosts are a nice addition tho.. but still.. Barrett is more fun !

Because the M79 is a poor weapon and only good for it's boosting qualities. If this were strictly going by ability to take on another person one-on-one, you'd pretty much have to choose barret. The only one-on-one encounter where the M79 should have the upper hand would be versus the chainsaw or knife. Really, weapon choice as for which is "better" will always depend on the mode being played, the situation, number of people, map, etc.

Yea,Thats true but the accurscy on m79 is not good.you shoot stright it goes down.Obviously berratt doesnt do that.And thats why i think poeple like berratt more.
