Remove Re-reloading re-feature!

As the topic says: the re-reloading a weapon when you pick one up from the ground.
Wyzzat?
coz:

-The weapons get JAMMED 80% of the time
-it removes the cool trick from the community ( the throw and catch the gun in midair and you can use it right away without reloading)
-disables a feature in modding (unreloadable weapons reusage)*

*Lets say you have a WM with all the weapons reload variable set to -1 (not reloading after clip empty) and you use up you weapon and you want to pick up the enemy's unused weapon with its unused ammo. in 1.3 that was still possible.


why was this implemented then?
answer: to eliminate LAW's fast reloading.
but the thing is, the law fast reload is still possible.


please remove the reloading thing!

How about dropped guns keep their ammo count? As in, if you empty half a clip and then toss your gun to a friend, when they grabbed it they'd only have half a clip left.

Ya that would be cool but would it have any affect on lag. Maybe for 56k users or sumthin XP I dunnow just asking , please dont flame me now XP

It shouldnt have any major amount of lag associated with it, i doubt pings would go up more than maybe 4-5 and thats only when a lot of weapons are around. But that is only my guess.

Yeah im really bugged over this, Picking up a gun in front of the feet of someone and nailing him after youve thrown away the knife where just so freaking fun to do... ;D

I must admit, I myself really enjoyed the feeling of batting your opponent's weapon out of their hands and using their half-emptied clip against them upon picking it back up.

It really should be brought back again... I'd definitely support this motion :)

I think the reload thing was added to stop some exploit. So i dunno if this is debatable.

It was probably added as a last resort to stop the double shot bug with the LAW because MM couldn't fix it another way.

However a chainsaw still keeps it's ammo once dropped, which would make me think this could be done to all other weapons except the LAW, or if the LAW was dropped it'd have that 1 sec wait as when you spawn with it.

Thats excatly what it was originally! because of the law. but the double shot with law is still possible! not too common, but possible.

I suggest bringing the old system back and making this to LAW:
reduce reload to small
make fire rate like the current reload amount.

Problem solved! you cant skip the fire-rate system.

until someone made a video about it, i had never seen or used the double law shot before.

Not really, It wont be a instant use weapon, but it actually solves the problem : )
Why sacrifice all other weapons instead of just one? Thats how its right now.
Besides, LAW wont be over used for sure! xD

You know what, you're right. It's better to horribly rape the weapon because you can't reload your Desert Eagles in two seconds.

Or, I've got an even better idea - let's remove the whole thing once and for all! YAY!

Guess what. Didn't you think that the LAW suffers from the forced reload feature the most?
