Actually, there are now fake little error messages -that pop up whenever you applaud/smite someone- with statements such as, "You now have -1000 karma : )" or something or whatever.

Perhaps that was what he was talking about. But then again, I'm not too entirely sure, either.

Karma still works fine. I've added the "s" hash to Applaud and Smite so that only you can use your karma links. This effectively prevents people from copy/pasting the karma link someplace for an ignorant user to click on (such as the signature.)

The error message is a joke. You don't really get -1000 karma.

So we all have special urls leading to either applauding or smiting. What if I were give my own applaud url, would I be able to use it? Not that I would do such a thing, ofcourse.. Ô_o

I had been gone for 3 days, i come back and i have -4 karma without posting anything

That was funny, I apreciate error message jokes because i use windows, and something gets screwed up every once in a while. "Fatal Error Never click on that again you dunce!" was a favorite one of mine.
