Nope, Storm was introduced much later than the intro maps.

115. Before Soldier, it was Major.

116. Michal doesn't make the weapon balance anymore: he relies on the beta team.

117. Some leading beta testers in the past have gotten in the team by espionage.

118. In 1.2.0 ( and maybe 1.2.1 ), when people died, their corpses stood still and fell down straight because of a bug with ragdolls.

119. If you stand on a flag, medikit or nadekit, the enemy can't pick it up.

120. Majority of Soldat players suck, but they won't admit it, and they'll proceed to call the few great players hackers upon encountering them.

128. The comments in the previous post are absolutely pointless.
To sum up my point: We had a multipage debate about toilet padding. (Putting TP in the water so you don't get splashed.)
And we still don't know if dead guys can keep a stiffy.

129. This game seems to be heavily influenced by the 1987 move Predator, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The main character's rank was major and his name was Dutch.
The bots names are some of the characters from that movie.
A lot of the taunts are quotes from that movie.
Some of the maps have a similar setting.
I think most if not all of those weapons are from the movie as well.
And, ofcourse, Predator Mode is from the movie.

Soldat doesnt mean soldier in Polish, it's not even close. Soldier in Polish is "zolnierz"

Online translators do not always work with verb conjugations and such, but they are great for single words.

Try translating "soldat" from Polish ISO-8859-2 to English.

Nope, soldat doesn't even mean "soldiery". There's no such word as soldat in Polish.

130: When Soldat went from freeware to shareware, the creator didn't bother telling anyone. People downloaded the new version to be met with a nag screen. Hilarity ensued.

97. The Barrett is, in reality, a gas/recoil-operated anti-armor weapon capable of semi-automatic fire.
98. The M-72 LAW is a one-use weapon.  However, it is light enough to carry a number of the tubes, and they can be very easy to prepare for firing.
99. The two above-mentioned weapons are the only ones in Soldat that widely deviate from their true-to-life function.
132. Most guns in Soldat are slower than the guns they're bases on. The Minimi, AK-74, and H&K MP5 all fire faster in real life.
