night vision?

i just thought of this weird yet pretty cool sounding idea, maaybe in some levels, randomly the screen goes black, like someone turned the lights off in the level, then you had to break out your nvg's. just a little somethin to add some excitement, i know itd be really hard to code and what not, but just a thought, lemme know what you all think and if you have questions please do feel free to ask :)

Don't like it... Soldat is a fast paced game. This would slow it down.

I'd love it as a visual element, not as a piece of equipment. I do wish the game had more options to tailor stuff like that -- the players, gravity, etc. Would be fun to play around with I think.

red id suggest changing the word "nigger" to "blacks", why do u use 2 colors, then a racist term?  it offends me. trust me this forum isnt all whitey's

Isn't that pretty much what it is? I dunno wtf a spork is, I suppose it's way weaker than the pistol since you compared that to this.

Ontopic - This feature will never get implimented in soldat, but I really like the idea. MAybe the Nightvision thing could be like a narrowed kind of "line 'o sight" in realistic. I mean, so that a thin line of neon green light was all that could be seen.

You know what I think would work well? Make it so that the game is pitch black or close, maybe with a handful of lights in the level around the bases, and have the sparks from fired weapons light the way. This would have the side effect of balancing the one-hit primaries as well since they can only see by firing a secondary or after waiting for the second reload from the prior shot. This would need small maps, though, since large ones would take too long to play or spot light sources.

Under the current game engine it would be stupid.  maybe if it was adjustable for maps to do day or night this would be cool.

ok, you guys totally missed the point, it would make soldat more strategic, which it should be considering thats its a "military" type of game im not sayin g make it on every single map, only a select few that are made specially for it, and Mr. Domino, thats a pretty good idea.

Done. But I don't see anything wrong with the colours. The red colour represents well...me!

Dude, Soldat is a fast game, by time you're start figuring what button is to turn on the night vision, you got killed by some m79 major.

well, thats easily fixed by making a map just for the mode, and have weapons specifically for it, preferably silent weapon, not like the chain saw,  or maybe make it like every one has pred so the guns dont make sound, so you have to be on guard all the time?

- The idea is kinda weird, then Soldat would need a major update to give it darkness aspects, because at the moment all they have are black backgrounds...

Sorry but I don't like this idea. This is simple and fast game. We don't  need things like this. There is many other games what have this option in game. And soldat don't even try to be realistic (okey okey.. realistic-mode). And thats the thing why I love this game. This is so different and fast!
