yes, but those people here who own servers and make reasonable suggestions for changes should just tweak the weapons file

the problem with weapon mods is there are so many different ones (even if they are all good ones) and it takes too long for a good player to adjust to the new tweaked weapons.  There are so many factors to take into consideration when fighting someone - such as how much range he has, how good his gun's bullets are, how fast he reloads etc.  That's why weapon modded server will only be joined by those seeking a little extra fun or simply can't stand the barret delay or inaccuracy of the HK.

Not a good idea because hardcore players and clans like to play in leagues and leagues that didnt have a default soldat weapons mod would be arguementive and probably biased. Get the weapons balanced once and for all and you wouldnt have to make some sort of unofficial balance. If your too lazy to do your beta testing part give it up to someone who will gladly take an active role in it and strive to come up with a most balanced default set of weapons as possible. So hopefully there isnt beta testers complaining in this thread about it.

how does that solve the problem? thats only solving like 0.1% of the problem and it only works on your own server. Besides servers like Gamearena and Xtra wont use mods like that on they're servers because they are "big" servers and will only use Official Soldat upgrades (according to alot of people)
