A game you can't get right.

Ok, I can't pwn at Day Of Defeat: Source. I can't get past a 1:1 ratio. Americas Army, Red orchestra, Call of Duty 2 (especially), Soldat (when I was young), Enemy Territory, Halo 2, bunch of other multiplayer games, I can own at. But DoD:S I suck. I don't know why, I get good fps, way better then Call of Duty 2, and I suck. I asked a bunch of people there stratedgy and they said just kill.....Wow I'm confused

Anybody have a game they can't get right?

Well, I just played CS: S (Counter-Strike Source), its harder than I thought and harder than CS: CZ and other versions.
Its damn realistic.
Other games like GTA: VC, Renegade, AvP2 and Soldat are fine.

I'm usually above a 1:1.
First of all it depends on what server you play on. If you're bad and you play aginst awesome peple you won't learn. Play against people with your own level of skill or slightly better. I play on Arcor servers by the way as they tend to have a range of skills (like most servers).
Find out your best classes, stick with 'em. I usually go 3(support) or 4(sniper). However make sure your team isn't undefended. If you're playing Jagd as Allies and you don't have an MG something is seriously wrong. However if you're playing Jagd as axis and you have an MG thats wrong as well as axis should be constantly pushing.
Once you have a good class find out its strengths and weaknesses. Obvious ones, snipers don't run into a fight. Sergeants don't snipe.

Once that has all been worked out you should be sorted and kicking some ***

Toumaz, if your american then join in South Bunker XP save in ET, no ff usually good players plus its the only server me and peemonkey will use.

I'm an average sniper, a great rocketeer, an ok support, a good machine gunner. I'm a horrible assault and a horrible rifleman. Except on Argentan where I just camp with a kar 98 in the train station. My favourite weapon would be the c96, it just sprays bullets everywhere.

I'm usually on T3 because there's basically no lag, 19 ping most of the time. But that's where all the good players play.......I guess I'm not that bad because I played on a custom map server against 2 people who I couldn't really understand because they had a very very very strong southern accent. Basically, I was the only allied guy, and there were two axis. I pwned both of them with just using a pistol, because my BAR was so god damm innacurate, and I would just run up to them and put a .45 in there face. Oddly I've never stabbed someone, but I always hit people with the shovel.

Counter-strike is easy. It's like an arcade game. My favourite gun would be the Steyr Aug or the equivalent on terrorist.

The only fps I play is battlefield two on the single player mode....

I can't get civilization right, its too fast paced. Seriously, I play for like 10 minutes, then some huge army of bowmen show up and crap all over my little, pacifist, scientific cities.
