Mancer's Edited Sounds

 The other day I edited a few sounds with Audacity and I made some interesting combonations.

In the .rar there are 5 sounds,

capture.wav

description:
The guy from Quake saying 'Capture.' I like it. Goes well with the next one.

ctf.wav

description:
Just like the normal capping sound for soldat, but in the beginning it has the guy from quake going "UNSTOPPABLE". Pretty satisfying after you cap or your teammate caps.

playerdeath.wav

description:
Replaces the playerdeath.wav in the sfx folder. When you die it has the normal sound but halfway through it has Dr. Evil from Austin Powers saying "Way to go, A-hole!". Its pretty funny and it lightens the seriousness of the death. Can make soldat a bit more fun to play too, so you don't get as angry when you die.

predator.wav

description:
Completley redid this one by adding a 35 second clip of Children Of Bodoms 'Knuckleduster'. Lasts the entire time you use predator and 5 seconds more, so you get that movie-type feeling.

berserker.wav

description:
Normal sound for berserker but on a part at the end the Quake guy says "GOD-LIKE!"


For those of you that use music with soldat, you should have all sounds off anyway, so these should'nt clash with your music if the soldat volume is off. :)

The pred one is more suited as a BGM, not a ingame bonus. and the Dr.Evil one is siad WAY to fast.

I just stuck 'em in a mod folder. Hooray 1.3+

This is pretty cool, I like the CTF sound ;D

grrrrrrr! they are almost worth using...

I like a lot of the consepts but dont think they will grow on me.

I didnt up the speed or anything, thats exactly how fast Dr. Evil says it in the movie.

Ahh, just feast your eyes on those sounds! You can really see what those WAV files sounds like just by looking at their waveform!
