Minigun 'N' Saw

Well, since about 4 months ago my goal has been to learn to use all weapons. So far, I'm pretty decent with them except with minigun and saw.

I went into U13 DM server and equipped minigun and saw.

Amazingly, I was able to get and maintain a more than 1:1 ratio, and even won the game.

Good One.  Although I do think that anyone can be good with any weapon, it's just a matter of practice.

I've only seen one other guy able to make scores like that with the mini.  His name was MaStErIn' MiNiGuN or somerhing.  He pwned everyone in the server we were in, BADLY.  He had like a 30-13 K:D. :o

30 to 13??? i normally have a 3 to 1 kill death ratio. I find using different weapon each
life lets you keep it fresh. Also people start to interprete you if your a high killer so you want to be different everytime.

huh, i dont even get how you could have a 3 to 1 kd ratio with mini, it takes like 20 bullets to kill!

Actually, only about 10.  It may not seem like it, but it's entirely possible to be efficient with a minigun.

You, most likely, just used the chainsaw most of the time.

Minigun-mastering is difficult, but using the chainsaw is incredibly easy.

Yeah, I would really love to see a minigun video where it's used effectively. Can never manage to understand what's the best range and stuff to kill people with it. If I'm too far away, the odd funnel-shaped selfbink makes it impossible to hit a target. If I'm too close, I'm an easy kill for the enemy, and it takes too many bullets to beat him to the punch.

I'd bank most of those kills are saw kills. It's not an "easy" weapon, but it's a whole lot easier to get kills with it than the minigun.

Mini = Requires good aiming and a quick trigger finger.

Saw = Requires Speed and know how.

Unless you just run over the spawning area, boom, multikill.  That's probably what happened. :-\

Actually, I got like 5 kills with saw... I avoided using it the most.

I'll make a demo of me using minigun.

The technique is to nade. If you don't have nades, RUN.

This reminds me of a nick I used to play with on U13 TM.  It was ranked 2nd at one point, but I stopped playing so its rank got purged due to inactivity.

I think he meant that you need to know when to fire, as in timing it precisely.
If you're too slow, you'll get killed, too fast and you waste ammo.

Wait... what do nades do if not kill your enemy? You're still shooting at each other, right? How do nades give you the upper hand? Maybe I'm missing something. ???
