I was once playing on my own little offline server with some bots. I had a chainsaw, the rest of them, something else. Every time I got close to an enemy with the chainsaw, it would just be thrown away. Explainable?

You would get punched which disarms you. DUH!!!

Unfortnately Shado is brutially right, if you get punched, you gun falls outta ure gun, yous supposed to hit the fire button BE4 you get to the bot, it causes maximum sawing

I use E to drop my gun
  Oh and throwing a chainsaw doesnt work like throwing a knife...i've tried.
Knife > Chainsaw  (R-A-N-G-E)
