We all know that karma is a popularity contest, but it doesn't work great sometimes. For instance, a lot of people like dascoo, but he has negative seventy-x karma. So, to end/start all wars, I'm going to put up a popularity contest poll. Everyone who has a huge ego/karma post here, and I will put you in the poll.

This is exactly what we don't need with the karma system. Karma should be used as a judge of posting not who you think is cool or not.

That's the spirit. This is just what the karma system was invented for. A damn popularity contest. "Because I say so" doesn't stop it.
