Does the *.reg key work with all versions?

Everytime I grab a patch, my .reg still works perfectly.

As far as I know, the registration key is good with every version of Soldat.

you reg once and you never need to see it again unless you format or get a new PC.

so basically the reg keys registers the comp and not the game version?
